The 5th Hour Challenge
1.  Book title and author: AWAKE by Melanie Surani
2.  Character name and brief description: Joshua Gray - Opera singer trapped in an abandoned art museum with four strangers
3.  Actor name (pictures are great too): Jesse Eisenburg

Hour 2 – Reader Lives

SMH. With this first mini-challenge, I realize that I haven't read a classic book in ages!

Hour 1 – On Your Mark, Get Set….

I am kicking off the read-a-thon with the audiobook "Fury" by Clarissa Wild. Have you read it? I hope to socialize while listening to the book.

Hour 0 - Opening Meme

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Los Angeles, California, USA

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
"The Gemini Effect" by Chuck Grossart. It's been shouting "read me" from my Kindle.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I made some peanut butter cookie for the occasion. Yum!!

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I love reading challenges. I read a lot more books if I have a task list. I am looking for suggestions for the Oddity Odyssey Reading Challenge 2015 hosted by The Bookshelf Gargoyle. Got any?

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I am going to socialize more.

It's readathon time! I signed up to read and cheer.

What is the 24 Hour Read-a-thon?

It’s sort of a reading challenge, only everyone participates at the same time. For 24 hours, we read books, post in our blogs and various social media platforms about our reading, and visit other readers’ homes online. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day and win prizes. In recent years, this event has grown to encompass Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Goodreads and other channels as well!

What is the date of the next Read-a-thon?

April 25, 2015
