Today's Topic: Book to Movie Adaptions

What books do you want to be made into a movie or television show? What are some of your favorites? We'll explore more about this topic, especially what works and what doesn't. Are there any upcoming shows or movies that you're excited for? What are your recommendations?

I am excited for OUTLANDER by Diana Gabaldon (romantic time-travel). I don't have the STARZ network so I am awaiting the DVD release with baited breath. I am a little miffed that the stars of the television show don't look like my Jamie and Claire - you know, the ones I pictured in my mind as I read the book.

This year I started watching a few television shows based on comics: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Flash, and Gotham. I have enjoyed them all, especially The Flash.

I tried multiple times to watch the movie adaptation of BEAUTIFUL CREATURES by Kami Garcia. I fell asleep every time. Is it just me? So sad... because I liked the book.

What are your recommendations?
