I will be listening to Dangerous Connections by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos on audio (via Librivox) during the readathon. I'll be mixing in some middle grade reads for extra flavor! LOL!

What is the 24 Hour Read-a-thon?

"It’s sort of a reading challenge, only everyone participates at the same time. For 24 hours, we read books, post in our blogs and various social media platforms about our reading, and visit other readers’ homes online. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day and win prizes. In recent years, this event has grown to encompass Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Goodreads and other channels as well!" -

What will you be reading this round?

Opening Meme – 1 hour to go!!!

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

Atlanta, Georgia, United States

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

Dangerous Connections by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The book is in public domain so I am listening to it for free on YouTube. It will take most of the day. Listening on audiobook will allow me to participate in some of the readathon challenges and visit some participants.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?

A Nissin Bowl Hot and Spicy - Chicken Flavor. [ramen]

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!

I am the mayor of Readeropolis. I am a lover of books, lists, sweet tea, and vacations. I am also I a big fan of Korean dramas which is how I came to choose Dangerous Connections as my main readathon selection - and eat ramen. More details to come.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

I am going to listen to the audiobook with a headset so that I can move around instead of sitting in one place most of the day.
