It's really fall y'all! I am getting those October feels! Can you feel it?

There are SO many fun and cool bookish events happening on the webs that I can barely focus on one.

FOMO (fear of missing out) is real, my friend.

What bookish events are you planning to participate in this month? Be sure to check out my Mark Your Bookish Calendars Playlist at the bottom of this post.

I will be higlighting some of the events in my Blogoween posts.

I saw a post about Blogoween 2018 in the Thursday, Sep. 20, 2018 edition of The BookTube Your Shelf Daily Reader and thought it sounded like fun.

I will be joining in at Level 1 (13 Days of Blogoween). Daily prompts will be provided by the event hosts. However, you can create your own prompts (make sure yours is not similar to one of the hosts‘ though).

Host: Anthony @ Keep Reading Forward
Monday 1st
Prompt Title: Halloween Creatures Tag 2.0
Explanation: A tag based on popular Halloween Creatures 1.0
https://keepreadingforward.wordpress.com/2018/10/01/halloween-creatures-2-0-book-tag/

I haven't read many creature books (hence I'm participating in Blogoween to find some good recommendations). So I am going to do my own thing and focus on just one of the creatures in the Halloween Creatures Tag 2.0. Frankenstein.

Last year, I got all excited about reading Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley. I bought the book and a couple of related books. I ended up only reading one of the related books and didn't read Frankenstein. [sigh]

I am going to redeem myself with Blogoween and read Frankenstein during the event (I am also counting this read for the Boo to You Readathon). Join me! The novel is in the public domain (in the USA) so free copies abound.
