My favorite bookish accessory that is not a book is a reading thumb. I have two kinds of thumbs - one made of wood by my father and ones I purchased made of plastic. You can see the plastic ones in this Instagram photo. The thumb keeps the pages in your book held wide open for easier reading and viewing. And when turned to the side, the plastic one can be used as a bookmark.

Thanks for hopping by. Talk to you soon!

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, I relaunched the hop on February 15, 2013. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end the following Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

  1. I never tried a reading thumb. I may have to give this a try during my next graphic novel binge.

    1. I think a reading thumb would definitely be useful during a reading binge. I find them especially helpful with new paperbacks that don't have much give.
