AUTHOR GUEST POST
I did quite a lot of research for my fourth novel “Through Ancient Eyes”. The subject of pre-Incan civilizations and lost worlds in South America has always been of interest to me. I studied a little known group of people, conquered by the Incas and first discovered by the conquistadors and explorers of the time. They wrote in their journals of these Chachapoyas, also known as Warriors of the Clouds. Most notably, the chroniclers were impressed by their tall, thin stature, as well as their white skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. The women were especially prized by Inca Rulers for their unusual beauty.
I wondered where these people came from, this pale tribe living high in the Andes Mountains. Could it be Atlantis? I’ve long thought the legendary isle existed off the coast of Central America. The lost civilization bell started ringing in my head and I was hooked on a new story. And late last year, I was able to cross a trip to Peru off my bucket list --Number one, right at the top.
Standing at the top of the ruins in Machu Picchu, I knew there was real magic in the world. For many years I’d hoped there was. I’d read about it and wanted to believe. Now nothing can stop my dreams. But if you think of visiting Peru, and seeing Machu Picchu, don’t wait. We were informed they were in the process of having the main part of the ruins closed off to tourists, only to be viewed from the guard tower at a distance.
Follow your dreams, wherever they may lead you, and find your magic.

Does
space make you paranoid?
Was
The Corporation harboring a dark secret on the off world mining
colony to protect their bottom line?
Christopher
Carter loved to explore. He was a specialist in his field back home
on earth, and travel to a moon that orbited a gas giant 120 times the
size of his home planet was the opportunity of a lifetime.
This
would be his first deep space assignment, and he'd wanted this
contract more than anything else in the world; except for his family,
of course. And he didn't have to choose one or the other.
It
was amazing how things worked out --Until they didn't.
Everyone
was hiding something at the facility, and it didn't take long to
figure out they were hiding it from him. Unfortunately for
Christopher, the truth would prove to be far more horrifying than
anything he could ever have imagined.

Q:
Tell us something interesting about you that most people wouldn’t
know?
A:
I have a Cylon toaster in my kitchen. So far, it hasn’t convinced
any of my other appliances to revolt against me and assume control
over the destiny of mankind. I guess I’m lucky there. It does burn
‘Frak Off’ onto my toast every morning, though.
