Character Interview

What annoys you? What makes you laugh?
I am most annoyed by arrogance and it’s close cousin impatience. Almost anything will make me laugh, but the antics of my perennial students, the eighty-year- old Rosenberg twins, keep me in stitches.

What is the best thing that ever happened to you? The worst?

My fiancé, Edward Morris, is the best thing in my life, followed closely by my dog, Rooney and his kitten Snowy. The day my father died was the worst day ever.

What is in your refrigerator right now? Mostly beverages. We live downtown and have a huge selection of wonderful eateries on our doorstep.

On your bedroom floor? Books, of course.
On your nightstand? A reading lamp and, of course, even more books!

Complete the following sentence: I am the kind of person who loves learning new things. Writing is an endless lesson in learning.

What early event shaped you the most? My dad regular took us kids to the library – at least twice a month.

What is the one word you would use to define yourself? Persistent.

What is the one word others would use to define you? Dependable.

A fatal hit-and-run in front of Savannah Webb's glass shop proves to be no accident . . .
A highlight of Savannah's new glass bead workshop is a technique called flame-working, which requires the careful wielding of acetylene torches. Understandably, safety is a top priority. But as Savannah is ensuring her students' safety inside, a hit-and-run driver strikes down a pedestrian outside her shop.

The victim is Nicole Borawski, the bartender/manager at the Queen's Head Pub, owned by Savannah's boyfriend Edward. It quickly becomes clear that this was no random act of vehicular manslaughter. Now the glass shop owner is all fired up to get a bead on the driver—before someone else meets a dead end.

  1. The streetscape looks like a perfect small town except for the glass and blood from the broken window of the Glass Beads Shop. I do love a good cozy mystery and can't wait to get my hands on this story.

Get carried away with love!
