Welcome to the BEST OF 2019 Giveaway Hop hosed by BookHounds.net. This hop starts at 9 am Pacific on January 15th and ends January 31st.

Well, 2019 left me with a taste for cozy mysteries. In November, I stopped by Kensingston Books' All Things Cozy meet-up in California. I was suffering with jet lag, but managed to talk with a number of cozy mystery authors. I will be featuring some of the authors from the meet-up. Be sure to stop by the blog often to check them out.

In December I checked out Red Velvet & Reindeer (A Southern Charms Cozy Mystery Short Book 2) by Bella Falls to wrap up my reads for the 2019 Sweet Southern Reading Challenge - hosted here at Readeropolis. Released on December 25, it is a cute cozy Christmas story. It's a quick read and is available on Kindle Unlimited. "Ho Ho Ho, and welcome to Honeysuckle Hollow, where magic and mystery are only part of the Southern Charms…"

You can checkout the 2020 Sweet Southern Reading Challenge here.

I'll be participating in the 2020 Craving For Cozies Reading Challenge hosted by Escape with Dollycas. My first cozy mystery read of 2020 will be Knit Your Own Murder by Monica Ferris. I bought multiple copies - one for me and some to share.

Readeropolis is giving away a hardcover copy of Knit Your Own Murder (A Needlecraft Mystery) by Monica Ferris (new with bookstore remainder mark) and a book mark at this giveaway hop stop (US only, 18+ years, see terms and conditions in giveaway widget).

BOOK DESCRIPTION

In the USA Today bestselling Needlecraft Mysteries, Betsy Devonshire has her hands tied between running her needlework shop and turning her sharp eye for deduction to solving crimes… The Monday Bunch and other local knitters are participating in a fund-raising auction to save a community center, creating a growing pile of stuffed animals and toys right in front of the auctioneers as the audience bids. Among those contributing the most knitted goods is temperamental businesswoman Maddy Hanover—who keels over halfway through the event. After she is pronounced DOA, an autopsy reveals that Maddy had been poisoned. But how? And by whom? One of the prime suspects is her ruthless business rival Joe Mickels, who lost a bitterly contested property bid to Maddy. When Mickels pleads his innocence to Betsy, she reluctantly believes him. But if Betsy is going to uncover the real murderer’s identity, she must first untangle the knots Maddy made in her relationships throughout her life…
