GENRE: Dystopian Science Fiction Thriller

A masterful, dystopian science fiction thriller of underground genetic experiments, telepathic evil greys, mysterious rebellion, conspiracy, martial arts, and Alien Vampires.

Sandy Cox believed WW3 was over. But for those Alien Vampires, War Has Just Begun.

Forty-eight hours after a World War III treaty is signed Sandy Cox awakens in an underground compound unable to move. Tied to machines she screams for help but no one answers. At least NO ONE HUMAN.

And they’ve taken her unborn child.

Enter Phil, a rebel freedom fighter who has had more than his share of Alien Vampires. Armed with THE BLADES, a sacred alien martial art, he enters the compound on a mission to find Sandy. But as he battles his way through the compound, Phil discovers Sandy has her own agenda. Finding her stolen child is all that matters.

But the vampires have their own plan and Sandy’s baby is at the heart of their diabolical plot. Joined by a crew of rogue soldiers, they must navigate the underground compound, battling genetically mutated humans, aliens and monsters.

When battling Alien Vampires, one thing is certain…Get Ready To Bleed!

Fans of The Hunger Games, George RR Martin, VE Schwab, Star Wars and Ancient Aliens will be fascinated by this high-powered, intelligent, edge of your seat dystopian sci-fi action thriller.

Dr. Blum escorted an alien vampire, a Drac, down the pristine hallway. This Drac was tall, standing well above six feet. He wore thick black armor that shined under the light, covering his torso, neck to navel, all the way down his arms, locked at the wrists. Standard armor for Drac soldiers.  His skin was pale, at least as pale as a scaly brownish auburn flesh could allow. His skull was smooth and large, and his neck bones stood on his shoulders protruding from the skin and skull like two thick stints up to the top of his head. The bones swelled then retracted, in unison with his breathing. The skin beneath his eyes was a pale red circling dry yellowish eyeballs with emerald pupils. His fingers were long and thick with sharp nails. Part of the Drac species, he wore his people's badge of honor proud on his sleeve.

“He’s the first to receive the new pills,” Dr. Blum explained. “He’s still coherent though, seems his strength and adrenaline are fighting off the effects, but at least he’s calm. Shock to the system if you know what I mean, Sanos?”

“Indeed,” replied Sanos, his voice a thick and heavy baritone. “He’s had all the necessary tests completed?”

“Of course,” Dr. Blum replied.

“Good…I’m starved.”

Dr. Blum bowed. “Of course.”

They stopped in front of the door leading to Ben’s chamber.

“This is it,” said Dr. Blum, sliding a panel from the small window. He looked inside seeing Ben sitting on the floor, his back against the wall. Ben’s pupils circled beneath half closed eyelids. His body jerked. The back of his head smacked against the wall. “Hmm, see, much more calm.”

“Delightful,” breathed Sanos. “May I?”

Sanos commanded perfection in his food. His eyes widened, delighted in observing Ben.

Do you ever wish you were someone else? Who?

Well, yes. Besides my teenage obsession with vampires and my come bite me and make me one desire, I also wanted to be Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors. Even had people convinced I was Jim Morrison, reincarnated that is. As you can tell, I was a big Doors fan, still am actually, although I have given up the Morrison desire. Now I simply enjoy being me.

What did you do on your last birthday?

Fortunately, my birthday was right before the covid-19 quarantine came into effect. Didn’t do much though, went to the beach and then out to dinner. My birthdays unfortunately have been a day of contention, loss, and anxiety since I was about 12 years old, so I’m used to not celebrating too much. I like to keep the day simple and give my full attention to my wife and children. I’m an early riser, so I always spend the morning on my birthday self reflecting and making plans for the future. I do a lot of writing and reading on this day as well (which is reflective of any other day), but that is how I choose to spend the celebration because writing and reading is how I’ve gotten through all those sour childhood days.

What part of the writing process do you dread?

I used to dread editing, but not anymore. I would sit in front of the computer staring for hours, asking myself, “do you really want to go down this path?” As a writer you’ve got to come to grips with an understanding that your unedited masterpiece has issues with it, of course it does, that’s why we have editors so get over yourself and edit. Conclusion is, welcome the editing, understand that no manuscript is perfect and that it takes collaboration with a great editor (or team of editors) to put out a polished novel. I’ve come to love the editing process once I looked at it from a different angle. I have to put on a different hat and change from creative writer to architect. I had to tell myself, “Self, this is a part of the career, love every minute of it.” So, now I welcome the editing process as much as I welcome the creative writing.

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it?

Not very often. I developed a process a few years ago on how to tackle any pesky writers block that may come my way. I discovered that there was always a reason for the block, either the story took on a direction I hadn’t expected and I needed to readjust the plot; or, I had written a part of the story that did not fit and required an adjustment or rewrite.
I also use mindfulness meditation and going for a walk to break the seal off the writers block using the above possibilities as the main focus.

The Rose Vol. 1 is a dystopian science fiction thriller inspired by an obsession with conspiracy theories, ancient aliens, and alien lore. The book features a sophisticated race of alien vampires who live in middle earth and have conspired with elite human beings and grey aliens to turn the human population into easily controlled zombies in an effort to achieve planetary and interstellar domination. The story begins directly after the end of World War 3 in an underground medical complex where human beings are subjected to genetic experimentation. The plot revolves around an unsuspecting WW3 safety camp survivor, Sandy Cox, who has been thrown in the middle of a mysterious human rebellion against the aliens and elite humans. The book features concepts found in alien lore and ancient aliens, including the Akashic Record and Robert Morningstar papers, to name a few. The book can be described as The Matrix with Ancient Aliens or Star Wars in The Hunger Games. I developed a martial arts practice I refer to as The Blades for one on one fighting scenes along with multiple surprise aliens and genetically mutated humans. The book is an action adventure thriller from start to finish.

  6. My name is Karina, I'm someone who has lived a life seemingly in the background, I must say this final indignity I have suffered almost too much to endure. You see, I have been sickly and weak since the day I was born and doomed to go through all my life a weakling. I seemed to have always suffered from one illness or another and could never play with the other children as I so desperately wanted to. Mother always made such a big fuss over me, also, making the situation worse as the other boys teased me mercilessly after they saw it. I was browsing  the internet searching on how i could be transformed into a powerful when i came across the email of a man named Lord Mark. who was a VAMPIRE so I told him that I has always dreamed of becoming a  VAMPIRES, All i did was just to follow the procedure that i was been told, and i bet you that procedure I took change my entire life to something i ever desire, freedom, sickness free, pains free, fame, influence, connections and even more that i can. Thanks to Lord Mark. Do you want a life full of interesting things? Do you want to have power and influence over others? To be charming and desirable? To have wealth, health, and longevity? contact the vampires creed today via email:
